At first glance, the layout of the dashboard may seem similar to that of the previous model. In reality, there is no shortage of new features, starting with the new graphics of the instrument cluster and infotainment display. Both 10-inch displays are complemented by an elegant clear frame and feature numerous options for customisation.

For instance, the infotainment uses ChatGPT's artificial intelligence to autonomously suggest destinations and routes based on the habits of the connected driver profile. In addition, there is "Hey Opel (or Vauxhall)" voice recognition and wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

On the electric Mokka, the infotainment system shows charging stations along the way.

All fabrics in the Mokka's cabin are made from recycled materials and the alternation with matte plastic elements creates a modern and welcoming ambience. Also new is the steering wheel, which has a flattened lower part for a sportier look.

Opel-Vauxhall has also revised the organisation of the central tunnel by moving some options that were previously handled by buttons directly into the infotainment system. In addition, the switches in the restyling - including the one for driving mode selection - are derived from the new Grandland.

Opel-Vauxhall Mokka, roominess and luggage compartment

The restyling has not changed the roominess of the Opel-Vauxhall, which remains comfortable for four adults, while the fifth person in the middle of the rear bench is a bit cramped, as is normal in B-segment models.

That said, the Opel-Vauxhall does provide a decent boot, with a minimum capacity of 350 litres and a maximum of 1,105 litres by folding down the rear seats in a 60:40 configuration. In the case of the electric model, some space is lost, with the minimum capacity dropping to 310 litres.
