The year 2025 is fast approaching and with it many new products from almost all car manufacturers. Among them, of course, is Peugeot, the French lion brand, which is planning the arrival of several new zero-emission models in the UK and European dealerships for the new year, especially with "upscale" aesthetics.

From the Peugeot E-3008 and E-5008 Long Range and 4x4 to the new zero-emission E-408, we discover everything the French manufacturer plans to unveil in the new year.

The first Peugeot model, which is due to arrive at dealerships in early 2025, is the new E-408, the large, 100 per cent electrically powered fastback that was presented live at the last Paris Motor Show in 2024.

It is initially only available with the 210 PS front engine and 345 Nm peak torque, which is powered by a 58.2 kWh NMC battery with a specified range of up to 280 miles in the WLTP cycle. Further versions could be added in the new year, including a Long Range version and possibly a version with all-wheel drive.

The second new model expected at Peugeot dealerships in early 2025 are the Long Range versions of the E-3008 and E-5008, the two new French SUVs that can cover many kilometres on a single charge.

Both vehicles are equipped with a 230 PS electric motor and a 96.9 kWh battery, guaranteeing a range of 435 miles for the E-3008 and 415 miles for the E-5008 according to the mixed WLTP cycle. In conjunction with fast charging of up to 160 kW, a range of up to 62 miles can be achieved in 10 minutes.  The models can already be ordered at a starting price of £45,950.

Peugeot's latest innovation for 2025 is also the one that will come sooner rather than later: the 4x4 versions of the electric E-3008 and E-5008. As announced at the presentation of the two sister models, they are to be unveiled in the first few months of 2025 and launched in the spring.

According to the specifications announced at the presentation, both will be equipped with a dual-motor drivetrain with a total of 320 PS and 510 Nm of torque in combination with the 73 kWh intermediate battery providing a WLTP range of 310 miles. More precise details on range and price are not yet available, which the company will no doubt announce at a later date.
